Video: The Consequences of Our Sin
March 4th Message: Providing With No Agenda
Today’s Quote:
“The Lord saw that there was no justice, and He was offended. He saw that there was no man – He was amazed that there was no one interceding; …” -Isaiah 59:15&16
Message: Disciples Deliver. People Choose.
Greeting
Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy: To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace.
Thanksgiving
We always thank God for all of you, remembering you constantly in our prayers. We recall, in the presence of our God and Father, your work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, knowing your election, brothers loved by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we were among you for your benefit, and you became imitators of us and of the Lord when, in spite of severe persecution, you welcomed the message with joy from the Holy Spirit. As a result, you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. For the Lord’s message rang out from you, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place that your faith in God has gone out. Therefore, we don’t need to say anything, for they themselves report what kind of reception we had from you: how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead – Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

Message: The Proclamation
Today’s quote:
“These men who have turned the world upside down have come here too, … They are all acting contrary to Caesar’s decrees, saying that there is another King – Jesus!” Hearing this, the citizens and the city councilors were alarmed. -Acts 17:6 & 7-8
These people are out to destroy the world and now they’ve shown up on our doorstep, attacking everything we hold dear! … These traitors and turncoats who say Jesus is King and Caesar is nothing.

HOW WE ARE CHANGED
All Scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.-2nd Timothy 3:16&17
WHAT THE CHANGE LOOKS LIKE
…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. -Galatians 5:22
THE PURPOSE OF THE CHANGE
Do not model your behavior on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and mature. -Romans 12:2
WHAT DOES GOD WANT?
For the creation eagerly waits with anticipation for God’s sons to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it – in the hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious freedom of God’s children. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning with labor pains until now. -Romans 8:19-22
GOT WANTS THE GROANING TO STOP
By exposing His groaning creation to men and women who have contracted the “JEREMIAH SYNDROME.”
